Dining At The Great Bear Inn
Your nightly rate includes an upscale multi-course dinner in addition to the Self Serve Continental Breakfast available each morning.(non inclusive rate does not include dinner)
As we do not carry a liquor license,so bring your favorite wines or beer while awaiting the main event. Many of our visitors write in their reviews that the social time spent mingling with other guests and trading travel tips to be a highlight of their trip. The sun sets at 10:30 at night in the summer, which is why we begin the Dinner Hour a bit later (7:30 p.m.) to allow for more time to play in Glacier National Park. For our underage or alcohol free guests we also offer iced tea and soda.
About the Chef
Ryan Sullivan, Executive Chef at the Great Bear Inn, received his professional training in Denver Colorado. With a focus on French culinary techniques, Ryan's cooking style and presentation of multi cultural food has impressed guests at the Inn from many parts of the world. His contagious enthusiasm for creating a fabulous culinary experience for guests will be a highlight of your stay at the Great Bear Inn.
Dinner
For guests with food allergies, and/or small children preferring a simpler meal, we offer an alternate meal. We must be informed of these dietary needs when making your on-line reservation. You may enter this information under the "Special Needs" section. It will be difficult to make adjustments for you once you have arrived. Reservations made without 36 hours notice will be subject to non dinner rate. Please Note: We are unable to accommodate Vegans.
Continental Breakfast
Your Continental Breakfast includes juices, cereals, fruits and a selection of oatmeals, along with coffee, herbal teas, hot cocoa, multi grain breads, bagels, cream cheese and english muffins. Perfect fuel for a day of hiking in Glacier National Park!
