Winter Recreational Activities Around Glacier National Park

Located just outside Glacier National Park in Montana, The Great Bear Inn is an inspired setting for a perfect fall and winter escape. Winter comes early to our area, so in most seasons by November guests can cross country ski or snowshoe directly from our back door and explore the forest and trails that surround the Inn. Guests can also take advantage of our location only 5 minutes from the West Gate of Glacier National Park to enjoy the splendor of Glacier's winter landscape on the winter trails in the Park.  Explore hundreds of miles of trails in Glacier National Park, the Flathead National Forest, and throughout the valley.
